These deceptively simple fingerless mitts are knit flat and seamed together to form a discrete thumb opening. They can also be worn as wrist warmers, leaving your hands free. Made from glamorous sequinned yarn, they are perfect for a special occasion.

As the rib and lace sections are both stretchy, the mitts will comfortably fit up to 20cm circumference at the wrist and 22cm at the knuckle, but substituting a larger needle size (4mm or 4.5mm) will work just as well with this yarn if you’d like to make them bigger.

Both charted and written instructions are included, and the PDF includes a link to a mattress stitch tutorial for invisible seaming.

A matching multi-way shrug pattern is also available: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sky-full-of-stars...
