Sky Watching is a seamless top-down raglan with a simple stitch pattern around the top half of the yoke. The rest is stockinette. The yoke is worked with increases and then the sleeves are separated off, leaving the body to be worked down straight to a rib hem for a cropped length. The sleeve stitches are returned to the needle and worked with shaping down to a 3/4 length and a rib cuff. Finally, the neckband and button bands are picked up and worked with garter stitch and rib.

Sky Watching is part of the “Memories” group of patterns along with Sea Listening Sweater and Sea Listening hat (Sep 2021) and Forest Walking cardigan (late 2021).
