A simple ribbed border frames this DK cabled blanket perfectly.

These unusual cable patterns are formed using very simple cable stitch repeats. If you know how to work a simple C4F (Cable 4 Front) and C4B (Cable 4 Back) this could be your next cable knit project. Detailed row by row instructions and charts help to make this pattern easy to follow.

The blanket shown here has been hand knitted in Rowan’s beautifully soft Super Fine Merino DK on 3.75mm (US5) and 4mm (US6) needles. Choose any DK yarn that knits to the tension listed below.
