Sleepytime Storybook
The plushie is made in flat panels, using turning rows. The appliqués are made using mostly continuous rounds, unless otherwise indicated to join with a slip stitch. Some of the appliqués are made by working back into a chain. You will start making the plushie by creating the first 2 panels (Book Pages followed by the Book Spine). You will join them together with slip stitches to create an outer Frame. Next, you will make one Book Cover and join it to the frame with single crochet stitches. Add surface single crochet detailing and repeat, making a second Book Cover to complete the other side. The final step is to crochet your desired Appliqués, and sew them onto the plushie.
