If wool sensitivity is a problem for you, take a look at this weighty and warm winter scarf knit from 100% mercerized cotton. Paton’s Grace has an appealing shine that reminds me of winter sleet (or freezing rain as it is sometimes called in the Pacific Northwest). I was inspired by a lovely, woven and ruched scarf in the gift shop window I walk by enroute to work each day. I like the luxurious feel of the wide width and the scarf tends to roll up a bit making it appear almost tubular, but it can be easily narrowed by 1/3 if you want
