This is a particularly charming pattern for the popular sleeveless jumper made on waistcoat lines. It has been designed especially for these pages by the same skilled worker who made the double breasted jumper which was so much admired last year. Knitters will be delighted to learn that for the next few months while needles are busy this worker will give our household pages the benefit of her skill, and a new and original design will appear every month.

The pattern jumper is worked in a lovely soft green 3-ply wool, and the little embroidered design is in white; it would also look most attractive in a deep green with the design in a softer shade of the same colour.

MATERIALS REQUIRED: — 5oz. Paton’s 3-ply wool (any desired colour) and 1oz. Paton’s 3-ply wool for the embroidery, which is worked with a needle after the garment is completed. This is a much easier way than knitting the design into the pattern, and the individual worker can use any embroidery stitch that appeals to her. Use No. 12 and No. 10 needles. Procure three buttons.
