This is your invitation to play with texture and color! The two stripes next to each other of similar color are different…or are they?

This sock has two alternating texture sections that creates a squishy texture that hugs the foot, but there are other possible arrangements as well. Knit one type on the leg, then knit the other type on the foot with the same colors. Or, choose one section, and knit it throughout the sock, using a different color for each stripe. Or knit it as I have with both sections together to cut down on the yarn ends, and trick the eye. You choose!

Sizes: S (M, L) to fit foot circumferences 7 (8, 9)” or about 18 (20, 23) cm

Yarn:
MC: 100g (463 yds / 423 m) of fingering weight yarn
CCs: 6 mini skeins or leftovers that are 10g (46 yds / 42 m) each.

Needles: US size 1 / 2.25mm

Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle

Gauge: 38 stitches and 72 rows to 4” (10cm) worked in slip stitch pattern in the round.

(Having many slip stitches really affects row
gauge.)
