Slip Slidin’ Away is a triangular shawl designed to work with Slub and Mohair yarns. It features sections of mosaic knitting, which utilizes slipped stitches to create colorwork designs, alternating with sections of simple stockinette stitch.

Use Emma’s Yarn Mo’ Slub bundles for perfectly-matched Slub and Mohair combinations, or mix it up with complementary contrasting colorways.

Size: 80 x 35” / 203 x 89cm.

Needles: US 5/ 3.75mm, or size to obtain gauge, in long circulars.

Gauge: 20 sts and 32 rows = 4”/ 10cm over stockinette stitch in Slub, blocked and dried. Differences in gauge will affect drape and yardage requirements.

Yarn:
fingering weight Slub: 430 yards / 395 meters; and
laceweight Mohair: 450 yards / 413 meters.

Notions: 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle.

Sample knit in: Emma’s Yarn Mo’ Slub bundle in It’s Casual: Slubby Slub (90% superwash Merino, 10% nylon; 438 yards / 100g), and Marvelous Mohair (72% Kid Mohair, 28% Silk; 459 yards / 50g) in It’s Casual.
