This is an easy to knit, yet flattering and fun beanie. If you love the look of cables and have been afraid to try, now is the time. The pattern is also easy to read and follow. If you are not comfortable using double pointed needles when closing the hat, there is a crochet option. So crochet is used ONLY to do the closing if you prefer that method.
Only one skein of yarn was used. The file has two pattern options, for worsted weight yarn and for bulky yarn, so you actually have two patterns here for same look hat. There is also a table included where you can tick off what round you have completed.

A special thank you to my testers Michaela and Silke, who made sure the pattern worked well.
