Learn how to slip stitch in the back loop only and work up a fun crochet dishcloth!

This pattern was inspired by all of the classic knit dishcloths from my grandmother-in-law, which I love more than some of my own dishcloth patterns…! I admit it!

I use dishcloths constantly to wipe toddler hands and the kitchen table after meals. My favorites have nice drape and some texture to really get those little hands clean. Many of my favorites are garter knits! So I set out to design a crochet dishcloth with a similar texture and drape.

I hope you enjoy this pattern!
