The Slouchy Blouse is a beginner friendly, modern top. It features a fitted stomach band and a flowy, oversized bodice to create a feminine yet modest silhouette. Yarn is held double-strand while working the ribbed band for extra support and then worked single strand for the body/bust. The Slouchy Blouse can be made sleeveless or long-sleeved; both designs are crocheted in one piece!

This pattern is a made-to-measure design, and can be adjusted to fit the wearer’s shape.

Construction - Garment is crocheted bottom-up, starting at the ribbed band for the stomach. With band connected, body rows are added on in the round. Body rows are then divided in half to split for the front and back panels. At neckline, additional rows are crocheted to create an extended front panel - shifting the shoulder seam towards the backside.

To create the long-sleeved version, rows are then crocheted along arm-hole opening. A similar ribbed technique is also added to cuff of sleeves.

Yarn/Fiber : Blouse can be made with any weight yarn, but it’s highly suggested to use lighter weight fibers (#1 Sock or #2 Sport) to achieve maximum drape/flow.

This pattern is also accompanied by the Tester Lookbook, providing general details to each testers’ version of their Slouchy Blouses (yarn, yardage, hook size, increase method, etc.)!
