Sizing: Adult medium

Finished Measurements: (Unstretched) Ribbed cuff 20” circumference; body of hat (at widest point) 23” circumference; total hat length (crown to bottom edge of ribbing) 10”; ribbing length 1 ½”

Gauge: 6 rounds and 5 sts= 1” (in stockinette stitch on 5 mm needle)

Special Notes:

The ribbing of the hat is worked using the smaller (4.5 mm) needle, and then the larger (5 mm) needle is used for the rest of the hat.
Switch from the circular needle to dpn’s when there are too few stitches left to comfortably work with.
You can make the hat more or less slouchy by increasing or decreasing the amount of rounds worked even (round 5 repeat) for the body of the hat.
