Slouchy Leafy hat is a modified embossed leaf pattern by adding an extra rows to give the stem and the leaves a longer look. My hat design started from those added rows and is worked in rounds. The purls in between the column of leaves give the hat a nice stretch.

The yarn (Lion brand Heartland) that I used has a little weight on it. You can pick a yarn that is similar. The weight gives the hat an effortless droopy effect.

You can test the gauge by knitting a few repeats of the pattern. Adjust the number of stitches as to how many repeats you like and how loose you want the hat to become.

Pattern is written only.

The pattern was free for sometime but changed it for a little consolation.

I would like to see your hats if you don’t mind to share. Thank you!!

Correction:

In ROW 9, pls omit the last 2 purls. You should be working on 14 stitches only. Thank you for your understanding!
