If you are interested in a MATCHING SCARF, you can find it in my shop.

LION BRAND YARNS Scarfie, 78% acrylic, 22% wool (5.3 oz / 150 g / 312 yd / 285 m), color: CREAM / BLACK x 1

I love THIS hat. The crochet technique used is quite stretchy, so the hat stays on snug despite its lovely loose and slouchy look. It also has a nice “flat-lying” rounded top, unlike the sometimes bulky and lumpy slouchy hat tops that we see.

Thank you for checking out my slouchy-slouch hat!

This crochet pattern for a slouchy hat is suitable for an INTERMEDIATE crocheter. It uses standard US English crochet terminology. It has been tested for clarity and accuracy by a professional crochet designer. In addition, it contains step-by-step how-to photos. I am confident this pattern will make for a happy crochet experience (and a very nice slouchy hat).

This hat is worked in the round utilizing crochet chains and single crochet stitches. The crochet chains are then laddered up (like making chains from chains) to give the hat its crochet cable effect. This technique is a variation on Jacobs Ladder and it is not difficult. This hat’s stretchy-ness also makes it one-size-fits-all -- suitable for most adult heads.

I am available to answer questions, should you have any.

Thanks again for stopping by.
