This hat is slouchy and comfortable. It is the ideal project for a beginner knitter too.

The more you wear it, the more it relaxes, and the slouchier it becomes. Eventually it will need a wash. I made all of mine in super-wash Merino and gave it a light tumble dry after the wash, which resulted in just a slight shrink back to the original size. Then the whole cycle starts again!

The other nice thing about this hat, is that it has space for those with thick and curly hair.
