Crochet Pattern for Small Animal Christmas Hats- Santa Hat & Reindeer Hats, perfect for the holidays!

Please note that the pattern for the sweater on the squirrel is not included in this set of patterns, but can be found elsewhere in my Etsy store.

Skill Level- Easy

Materials Needed-
Aran/medium yarn, I used Red Heart
G/4.0mm hook
H/5.00mm hook
Needle
Scissors
Elastic (optional)
Ribbon (optional)
Measuring Tape (to measure your pet)

Abbreviations-
CH- chain
ST- stitch
SK- skip stitch
SL ST- slip stitch
SC- single crochet
SC DEC- decrease two single crochet together

Santa Hat Measurements
The hat is 3 inches tall, almost 2 inches across, and about a 4 inch circumference.

Reindeer Hat Measurements
The hat is 2 1/2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches across. The pattern includes patterns for two different reindeer hats.

Animals it Should Fit
It should fit most animals that are 5 pounds and under, and other smaller animals like chickens, guinea pigs, lizards, ferrets, etc. If you need the elastic to be longer or shorter, please include how long you want it to be in the notes to seller. Make sure to measure your animal before ordering.
Please note that the hat is hollow inside, however the hat can sit on the animal’s head.
