These bears are part of a growing collection of animals called the Small Animal Collection that can be found here on Ravelry and the blog! Each of the animals is designed to be similar in size at about 6 inches, each with its own unique characteristics.

With the smaller size, they are not only cute but work up rather quickly, making them the perfect last-minute handmade amigurumi gifts! I know that you’re going to want to add all of them to your collection!

The Small Animal Collection Bears are great for last-minute gifts, imaginative play, decor, and for all the bear lovers in your life!

PATTERN INFORMATION

• Your PDF purchase includes written instructions and helpful photographs to aid in construction for BOTH the bear and the panda bear patterns.
• The patterns are written in English using US crochet terminology.

SKILLS NEEDED

• The skill level needed is advanced beginner (but ambitious beginners are always encouraged to try!).
• The techniques you will need to know include: chain, single crochet, slip stitch, increase, invisible decrease, working in the back bar of the chain, and the adjustable (magic) ring.

MATERIALS NEEDED
+ To complete the Small Animal Collections Bears and Panda you will need: yarn in your choice of colors (about 87 yds of worsted/aran), a size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook, stitch markers, tapestry needle, stuffing, pins, scissors, chopstick to help stuff, and 10mm safety eyes.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
+ The finished Small Animal Collections Bears and Panda measure approximately 6 inches tall from the base to the top of the ear in the sitting position.
