Small Boat Keychain
A free version is also available.
Say hello to one of the cutest little additions to our keychain collection—a tiny crochet boat! This quick and beginner-friendly crochet amigurumi boat keychain pattern makes a cute little boat that’s small enough to clip onto your keys, backpack, or just as a small boat for little hands to play with.
The shape was inspired a simple origami boat – because who doesn’t love those! The best part? The amigurumi boat pattern is completely no sew and is worked as one piece. It’s a great stash busting project and it works up super fast – in well under an hour!
This crochet boat isn’t just cute—it’s symbolic. The design was inspired by the Global Sumud Flotilla, a movement of brave civilians sailing from around the world to Gaza to bring aid and break the seige. This boat (especially the watermelon adaptation) was designed in solidarity with the flotilla and, more importantly, with Palestine.
This pattern was made using DK yarn and a 2.75mm crochet hook. This small boat works up to be 3 inches wide in DK yarn. You can use any other yarn with a relevant hook, but the sizing will vary with the weight of the yarn.
