This version of a Knot bag is a small gift pouch size, ideal for jewelry or a special little gift. It has a flat circular base which means it will sit up properly and look enticing when it’s full! This simple knot bag fascinated me when I first spotted a beautiful version made from vintage kimono fabric.

I just had to see if I could replicate the smooth curves and interesting knotted loop closure. The large loop passes through the small loop to close the bag and the felt folds gently to give the great curves.

Felted size- 8 cm / 3” wide x 11cm / 4.5” high
