The Little Yellow Taxi is raring for you to take a ride. She’s a little knitted checkered cab from the days of taxis gone by. Stitch her together, stick on her wheels and watch her fly.

This little knit actually rolls!

Just keep an eye on that meter. She does tend to overcharge if you don’t pay attention. Is this really the shortest route to the the Met? And don’t forget to tip!

The Small Yellow Taxi is one of three Mini Metropolis patterns in the Stitch New York book.

Errata! EEP! A mistake. The end of the pattern should read:
Rear Window Row 41 to Row 44. Change to Light Blue. Knit in st st starting with a knit row.

Trunk Row 45. Change to Bright Yellow. P across. Mark each end with the scrap yarn to show where to fold for trunk and bumper.

Row 46 to 52. Knit in st st starting with purl row.

Bind off all sts. Mark middle of bound off row with Marker 3 yarn.
