Happy Smalliday Season! My newest Smalliday pattern is 40% through the end of December with code “Smalliday”

I find so much joy in a bundle of colors, whether its an advent style kit with little surprises to open each day or digging though my stash of smalls (mini skeins) and leftover bits. Blending colors and watching each one come to life on my needles is just so exciting!

The Smalliday Scarf was designed using the 2025 “Welcome to the Jungle” Smalliday Set from Emma’s Yarn, a wildly colorful set of 24 “smalls” or mini skeins. The stitch pattern looks complicated but it’s quickly memorizable and looks gorgeous in hand-dyed, multicolor yarn. The set is a mystery and so my images are all black and white but will be updated after December 25.

Yarn
24 colors (20g) each of dk weight yarn or 1200 total yards in as many or as few colors as you’d like.

(24) 50 yard/ 20g smalls of 90% Merino, 10% Nylon.

Needles and Notions
US Size 6 (3.75mm), 24 or 32 inch (100 cm) circular needle or size required for gauge.
Darning needle

Gauge
18 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette, after blocking. Gauge isn’t crucial but will determine how much yarn of each color is used and your overall finished measurements.
