Magazine description: A simple slip-stitch pattern worked over a mostly knit tube becomes a deeply smocked diamond lattice when turned purl side out – and creates a fabric that won’t droop or sag.

Designer’s note: Choose a size that is 1-4” smaller than your actual hip circumference. This skirt is worked from the top down without shaping, relying on the stretch of the knitted fabric to create body-hugging fit.

The skirt is worked with the wrong side of the work facing at all times.
