Smoke & Water is a 8-row pattern repeat that features two different lace work patterns. The first lace work on the edges evokes the rushing water of a river. The middle lace work is like calmer water, with a center swirl of smoke. The pattern uses a provisional cast on and kitchener stitch.

Corrections have been made to the pattern thanks to Kristen spotting some typos in my written description. Please take a look if you’ve printed out the written directions before 10/7/17!
