Interpretations Vol. 6 is another magical and heartfelt collaboration between Joji Locatelli and Veera Välimäki. Like each Volume before, the 6th Volume includes six themes, six words with two designs inspired by each word, showing a personal take on each of these themes.

This year the photo shoot was set in charming Barcelona and we had the honor to have Jonna Hietala taking all the pictures for this book.

Happiness is sometimes hidden in the smallest details. Intense happiness can be found in gentle twisting of cables or in the subtle undertones of squishy yarn.

Smoke and Amber is an ode to cables and all the shades of grey. Worked flat with generous ribbed ends, this is surprisingly addictive to knit. Smoke and Amber will keep you company for many years to come.

Finished measurements (after blocking): 70” (178 cm) long and 24” (60 cm) deep

Yarn: 6 skeins of DK Twist by Madelinetosh (100% Merino Wool; 250 yds (229 m) / skein) or approx. 1500 yds (1375 m) of DK weight yarn. The sample was knit using colorway The Upside Down.
Needles: US 6 / 4 mm circular needles.

28 sts and 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in cable pattern.
