This is a fairly simple pattern, but does require some counting.

It is worked side-side.

The pattern is written for a women’s XL/2X. It can be changed for a S/M by omitting the first pattern repeat and the last pattern repeat (So you would be doing the pattern only once for the shoulders)

I used approximately 4 1/2 100g skeins of Ultra Pima Paints by Cascade yarn, but any cotton yarn would work as long as you match the gauge.
