This is the pattern for a snail appliqué. I do have this pattern available for free on my website if you would prefer that option. The link is down below, but I’ve made it available for people to download as well for $1 on Ravelry.

I’ve used 2 ply cotton and a 1mm crochet hook, but you can use different sizes depending on what you’re most comfortable with.

• Any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat 2 ply crochet cotton colors (179) Topaz, (162) Black Coffee, (606) Grass Green and (513) Spring Green.
• A crochet hook, I used a 1mm hook.
• A darning needle to weave in ends.
• Scissors.
• Red embroidery thread to embroider on the mouth if desired.
• 2 black beads for the eyes and white thread or paint for dot in centre of eyes.
