A few years ago, I was looking to knit mittens featuring snails for myself and a few friends as a group gift. I could not find any mittens I liked and decided I would create my own. This pattern originated out of a love for trails, enjoying the forest and forest bathing. Taking in nature at a snail’s pace.

These mittens are worked in the round and use 2 skeins of contrasting colours. The sample mittens were knit with Knit Picks Wool of the Andes sport weight yarn. There was only a tiny ball of the main colour remaining when they were done, so make sure you have enough MC to finish the pair!
