This pattern is a fun and playful design which includes both a sweater – with a snake wrapped around the body and down the right arm – and mittens featuring the snakes head. This way the child can be the snake charmer, and even control the snakes head with the mitten – like a hand puppet.

Introduction
The body is worked flat bottom up. The front and the back are worked individually. The sleeves are worked flat from the shoulder to the cuff.

The snake is wrapped around the body of the sweater starting with the tail in the back, to the front, up the shoulder and down the right sleeve, ending with the head near the sleeve. NOTE: The design haws been updated placing the snakes head more in front of the sleeve to make it stand out more compared to the first images.

Mittens are worked from the cuff to the fingertips. All parts are worked in stockinette stitch using the Intarsia technique for the colour change.

The right mitten has snakes head, and the left one is in colour A.
