Whilst playing with variations on the crocodile stitch I came up with this beautiful and luxurious stitch which thanks to one of my testers is now called the Snake stitch as the stitches snake their way up and down creating lovely S shaped ruffles.

Level of Difficulty: Intermediate - The pattern is written with a photo tutorial for each step of the process. This pattern has been tested by three superb Ravelry members and their invaluable input has ensured that this pattern is error free!

Completion Time for Pattern: 4 hours dependant upon experience.

Hook: J (6mm) crochet hook

Yarn: 100g of 3/Light/Worsted/8ply yarn will make one neck warmer and rose fastening, 200g + dependent upon the length would be needed for a scarf.

Format of pattern: PDF

Gauge is not critical for this project. Different hook sizes and yarn weights might be used to achieve a lighter or bulkier look.
