Snakes!
This pattern shows you how to create a baby snake and a big snake. These snakes look very cute when they are done. They can be very helpful for people who fidget a lot since you can wind the snake around your fingers or wrist.
The baby snake is worked from tail up, then the head, then back down the starting chain to fill out the body. The large snake runs from head down to the tail and includes a lower jaw piece to help fill in the bottom of the head.
This pattern is worked holding two yarns together. I use a cotton yarn and a fingerling flax yarn. I included many pictures to guide your work.
The pattern is versatile - no gauge required, no specific yarn needed, you can get bigger or larger snakes just by changing yarn weight or hook size (or both).
