This warm and squishy lace wrap is a perfect accessory for a cool winter day, and features a whimsical lace pattern inspired by the classic children’s game, with long “snakes” of eyelets slithering the length of the wrap in between columns of ladder lace. Though right and wrong sides are not identical, both sides are equally attractive. There is no wrong way to wear this wrap.

The finished size is 18.5 inches x 80 inches (47 cm x 203 cm).

The pattern requires a full 300g/6 skeins of Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted (100% wool, 50g/110 y per skein), or a similar substitute.

Pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

Suitable for an advanced beginner; some basic lace knitting experience recommended. The pattern is created entirely with basic lace stitches: knit, purl, yo, k2tog, and ssk, with only knit and purl stitches on the wrong side. The long pattern repeat is the only “advanced” feature of the pattern, but is easy to predict and memorize after once or twice through.
