This pattern represents some of my favorite aspects of design that I’ve incorporated this year: twisted ribbing, Celtic knots, and crossed stitches. What can I say--I’m a creature of habit.

Snakes and Lattice is a closely fitted fingerless glove in worsted yarn that uses twisted ribbing and 1x1 crossed stitches. The palm is stockinette. Abbreviations used include ktbl, c2L, c2R, c2Lp1, c2Rp1, m1L, and m1R.

Please note that chart reading is required for this pattern, in order to incorporate the charted Celtic knot pattern.

Any worsted yarn can be substituted for the suggested yarns, but don’t forget to check the gauge.

Please post pictures of your beautiful finished mitts!
