Snap Beret
The ‘Snap Beret’ is worked from the bottom up in stockinette stitch. First, the casing for a leather ‘Hat Strap’, i-cord, or silk ribbon is made by working back and forth in stockinette stitch. Then the work is joined to work in the round with increases. The ‘body’ of the beret is worked in the round in stockinette stitch, and the top is shaped with decreases and finished off with a small i-cord detail at the top. Pair it with the ‘Tårnby By Night’ sweater.
