Snap is a childs sweater.

Snap is a Danish word for ‘fast’.

The sweater/pullover is worked from the bottom edge and up with multi-colored pattern stripes on the body and sleeves. The sweater has a traditional drop shoulder/set in sleeve construction.

The pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 16 stitches per 10 centimeters (stockinette stitch) i.e. a yardage of approximate 100 meters per 100 grams.

This pattern includes directions for a size 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 years with a chest width of 71, 79, 86, 94, 101 and 109 centimeters and a length of 43, 46, 51, 54, 57 and 61 centimeters.

This pattern is written for a knitter who is familiar with stranded knitting, a knitter who is able to follow written instructions, charts and work increases and decreases. (Direction is a combination of text and charts).

Materials: yarn, knitting needles and stitch markers.
