This is a baby bolero worked in aran- weight yarn. The garment is worked in one piece from the top down, incorporating the cable along the neckline. It starts with a provisional cast-on, then a short section of the braided cable is worked. Then stitches are picked up along one edge of the cable and from the cast-on edge, allowing the body of the cardigan to grow from there. The cable continues along each edge. The bolero incorporates raglan sleeve shaping, short-row shaping on the body and a knitted-on cable.

This pattern features in Issue 88 of Knit Now.
