Snow Arches is a 12” crocheted blanket square designed for the January installment of the 2011 afghan square-along at The Knitting Nest in Austin, Texas. The inside portion is a 6” six-pointed snowflake. The outside is an arched round (reminiscent of Moorish arches) that becomes a square at the outer edge. It was inspired by the Snowflake Potholder by Priscilla Hewitt.
