Winters here in Bern, Switzerland can be hit or miss. While the Alps will generally have a nice snow cover, down here we often have very little snow. Except this winter - the sun was shining one minute, then the next I couldn’t see across the street.

This sock pattern was inspired by that day - a sudden heavy snowfall, so thick that the individual flakes were hard to see, until it petered out to a light flurry.

Worked from the top-down, the flake pattern heavily coats the leg, but gives way to a scattering of flakes toe. An Eye of Partridge heel and Riverbed Gusset snuggle the arch of your foot for a nice fit.

Also included is my recipe for simple chocolate truffles - perfect for when you need a quick, rich hit of chocolate.
