This pattern creates a cute medium size purse. It includes multiple color changes. It also uses back loop only double crochet stitches.

Getting an exact gauge is not really important for this pattern because it is not a fitted item.

In addition to the hook and yarn, you will also need a button (quarter sized), thread in colors matching your yarn, 2 purse straps to add the strap to the purse and a liner if you would like to make it more usable as a purse.

I used 2 skeins for this project, one for each color in the pattern.
