The boot topper is designed to have two style options; (1) the long ribbing is tucked into the boot, so it looks as if polka-dot socks are peeking out; (2) the long ribbing is folder over the top of the boot, so a solid cuff is shown. Please share other style ideas on Ravelry!

Yarn: Patons Classic Wool, Cascade 220, or similar traditional worsted yarn

Yardage: 140 yards of MC, less than 40 yards CC

The hat pictured is the newest pattern in my Ravelry Store: Hugs & Kisses Ski Hats. The hat and boot toppers used every bit of yardage on the Patons Classic Wool plus a little more. Notice the white stripe on the second boot topper, well that’s how close the yardage is.
