Hello hi!

This mittens pattern is pretty typical for colourwork patterns, it is repetitive, easy to follow and after knitting a pair or two, you will probably have memorised most of it.
It includes Latvian braids wich can be a bit challenging, but I assure you, it´s worth it!

The size is for a medium hand (lady / youth) but its easy to adjust the size a bit both in lenght and width.

Finished meassures according to the chart is: 20,5 cm width, 14 cm to the thumb
and 13 cm from the thumb to the top. The thumb is 6,5 cm.

You will need:
2,0 mm double point needles
2 stitch markers
Tapetsry needle to weave in the ends
50 g main colour yarn (MC)
50 g contrast colour yarn (CC)
Scrap yarn for the latvian braid (about 10 g) (SC)
I used two ply wool yarn measuring 300 m/100 grams (sport)
Gauge: 30 stitches and 30 rows =10 x 10 cm

Have fun knitting and don´t hesitate to contact me if theres something not correct with the pattern.
