Hey fellow crocheters, now you can appear to know how to knit! This Snow Sport Slouchy pattern is a whole lot of fun and provides the excitement of using a new technique while working the base of the hat on the knitting loom and still offers the comfort and familiarity of crocheting while working the brim. Don’t worry, using the knitting loom is very easy (I have included a step-by-step photo tutorial in the pattern,) is great to work on because you don’t need to worry about gauge (just use the loom specified in the pattern for the size hat you are making), and the looms can be purchased inexpensively at just about any craft store and many of the larger chain grocery stores as well. I designed this hat for my snowboard enthusiast step-daughter who loves all things slouchy! It includes directions to make the following hat sizes: Infant, toddler/child, adult small (most women and teens), and adult large (most men.)

Pattern is written in standard US crochet terms.

Necessary crochet skills: Working in the rows and in the round. Sc. I have included pictures and explanations for the tricky parts. This is an “easy” pattern.
