This is actually a set of two patterns - beanie and cowl.

It is the perfect addition to your winter wardrobe.

It has been designed for the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop !!

It is an Advanced Beginner pattern, and is sized for the Adult Woman, although buy adding or subtracting ribbing rows you can make it for any size!! Such a bonus!!!

Finished Size of Beanie #1 (Slouchy):  

Approximately 9 1/2 inches wide at the top of the ribbing and 10 inches tall
Finished Size of Cowl:
Approximately 11 1/2 inches wide x 36 inches long when folded and seamed/72 inches before seaming.

This pattern uses US Crochet Terminology.
This stitch pattern used for the hat and the cowl is made using a Stitch Multiple of any even number.

Materials Needed:
The yarn featured in this pattern is called Knit Picks “City Tweed”. The color way that I used is called “Snowbank”. This yarn is an Aran/HW weight yarn, and is made of 55% Merino Wool, 25% Superfine Alpaca, and 20% Donegal Tweed. Care = Hand Wash and Dry Flat. Each skein is 100 g/3.5 oz and 164 yards.

Yarn Amount Needed for Beanie: 141 yards
Yarn Amount Needed for Cowl: 658 yards

-  Crochet Hooks,  Size “I”/5.50 mm and Size “J”/6.00 mm
-  Yarn Needle  (Used for working in loose yarn ends and attaching “snap on” faux fur pompon.)
