Forget flying south for the winter, warm yourself up with this fun and quick project instead. Snowbird is a simple triangle shawl that doubles as a wearable blanket. Like wrapping yourself up in a feathery down comforter, this blanket shawl features a very simple three-stitch cable that resembles distant birds in flight. With a four-row repeat, this is the perfect project for mindless knitting that will pay off with a finished shawl in just one day. A delicate picot edge helps balance out the chunky cables. This pattern is charted and includes written instructions.
