These fair isle mittens are knit in the round on double pointed needles from the cuff up to the fingers. The thumb is an ‘afterthought thumb’ using a piece of scrap yarn as a placeholder.

The fair isle work makes for a winter festive and very warm mitten. :)

75 yds worsted weight yarn for main color
60 yds worsted weight yarn for secondary color
