Chevron stitches are great fun to knit. Snowdon can easily be enlarged to make a cosy throw by adding extra repeats of the pattern to the length and width, or you can choose a finer, ‘baby’ yarn and make a smaller version.

Colour A: 3 skeins – BN03 Basil

Gauge: 10cm/4in = 14sts x 20 rows in chevron stitch, after blocking

Be aware that chevron stitch grows in length and shrinks in width dramatically after it is blocked; what starts out looking like a short, wide blanket growsto the right proportions after wet blocking.
