SKILL LEVEL: Beginner

This super soft cocoon has a “snowflake” trim that resembles fur. Perfect for a newborn photography prop, little ones will be so cozy in this cocoon wrap.

This is a very simple and basic knitting pattern that should take about 2-3 hours to complete.

MATERIALS:

• 7mm needles
• Bernat Alpacas Natural Blends yarn
• Sirdar Snowflake Chunky yarn

The fluffy trim is achieved by using the Sirdar Snowflake yarn. If you can’t find this particualr yarn, Red Heart Buttercup yarn can be substituted to achieve a similar look. Most chunky weight yarns can be used in place of the Bernat Alpacas Naturals, but check the gauge to be sure.
