An entire set of snowflake earrings available as a single pattern!

The pattern begins with written and photo instructions for the basic design, which is simple but elegant, and then includes complete directions and photo examples for more than 20 variations. There are some additional examples and suggestions for more variations given at the end, as well as information on how to finish the earrings.

The smallest earrings use only 5 yds of size 40 crochet cotton for the pair and are less than 1” across. The largest use 25 yards and are 2.5” across. You will also need a 0.75 mm hook and a pair of hooks or studs.

Size 40 crochet cotton is almost the same thickness as size 12 perlé cotton, or 3-ply sewing thread. To easily work with sewing thread in 3-ply from a single spool, use the triple-ply technique shown in the instructions.
