Please note: This pattern has the instructions for the shawl shown in the pictures, with out giving you the exact placement of the snowflakes. You get the fun of placing the motif where you want. This pattern does not give you line by line instructions for the whole shawl, but shows you how to use the faroese shape to get the fit you want.

Gauge and yardage information is given for aran weight yarn. These instructions can be used with other weight yarns, but your yardage requirements will vary.

The border can be replaced with a i-cord bind off, or your favorite bind off, especially if you have limited yarn.
