Snowflake R-2 is the center ring version of snowflake SP-2. It is shown on the front cover with a cross stitch skier center insert. The written instructions are on page 13.

Bedspread thread such as Lily’s 18th Century Cotton
1 ⅛ inch “bone” rings made by Boye or Susan Bates

Use any size thread and the hook size that gives you a firm stitch.

Center ring is embroidered on Hardanger cloth using charted designs on pages 18-19. Instructions for assembly are on pages 16-17.
