Written instructions for 2 round Ring snowflake on page 11. Shown on page 11 with cross stitch year 1982 center insert.
Page 3 Materials: Use any size thread with matching hook that gives you a firm stitch. For dainty, delicate snowflakes use tatting or size 30 crochet cotton. To produce larger snowflakes, use bedspread cotton, or yarn, and the same directions.
For Ring snowflakes made around a “bone” ring, use bedspread thread such as Belding-Lily’s Big Deal or 18th Century cotton, or DMC’s Cebelia #10, 1 ⅛ inch “bone” rings, and a size 9 steel crochet hook (1.4 mm).
Pages 18 has assembly instructions for ring center designs embroidered on even weave Hardanger cloth. Cross stitch charts on page 19 for candy cane, NOEL, glowing candle, letters, and numbers for years.
